We are seeking corporate, community, and non-profit partners to assist us in this endeavor. Our grand auditorium needs new stage curtains, a built in sound system, a ceiling-mounted projector, a large cinema screen, and stage lighting. Our theatre seats are in need of refurbishment and/or replacement as well. Our amazing auditorium can seat 1,000 people if it is repaired to it's former glory. It is a marvelous venue which can be utilized by our community and by private production companies as well. We have hosted both the taping of a television show in 2007, and the filming of a major motion picture called "Hurricane Season" on our campus in 2008. Please join us in our efforts to bring the performing arts to the Algiers community! |
